General Terms and Conditions
of the Hotel Spechtshaardt

  1. The guest accommodation contract is concluded as soon as the rooms or function rooms ordered have been confirmed or made available.
  2. The contract for a hotel room includes overnight accommodation with or without breakfast.
    The contract for function rooms only includes the function room.
  3. If advance payments requested by the hotel are not made on the date requested, the hotel shall be immediately released from the agreements made.
  4. Reserved rooms are available to the guest from 14:00 on the day of arrival until 10:30 on the day of departure.
    Late departures must be arranged with reception the evening before: half the room rate will be charged for departures up to 3 p.m. and the full room rate for departures after 3 p.m.
  5. The guest does not acquire any claim to the provision of specific rooms or premises.
    If agreed premises are not available, the hotelier is obliged to endeavor to find an equivalent replacement in the hotel or in other properties.
  6. Cancellation of events/group bookings
    For changes and cancellations of booked function rooms/package arrangements, the following will be charged: no costs up to 40 days before arrival
    39 – 30 days before arrival 30% of the agreed service
    29 – 14 days before arrival 50% of the agreed service
    13 – 5 days before arrival 60% of the agreed service
    5 – 1 days before arrival 80% of the agreed service
  7. Cancellation of a room:
    Is possible free of charge up to 3 days before arrival.
    In the event of cancellation less than 2 days before arrival, we charge 80% of the booked package price. Unless a different arrival time has been agreed, we reserve the right to re-let hotel rooms booked after 18:00 if the guest has not yet checked in.
  8. If the customer is not the organizer at the same time, both shall be jointly and severally liable.
  9. Valuables, money and papers of monetary value (checks, check cards, etc.) must be deposited in the hotel safe at the reception desk.
    The hotel accepts no liability for items stored by the guest in hotel rooms (including room safes) or other rooms of the hotel.
  10. These terms and conditions also apply to seminars and other events.
  11. The place of jurisdiction is Aschaffenburg.
