The town of the Main-Spessart-region have succeeded in preserving the medieval centres. You can stroll around in the town centres, go shopping or sit in a street cafe. Do not miss out on taking a look at the medieval castle of Mespelbrunn which is surrounded by moat, also romantically called fairy-tale castle.

Another appealing feature is the valley of Hafenlohr near Rothenbuch. It is an old cultural landscape, which is well-suited for bicycle and motorbike riders who want to enjoy a cosy tour with great scenery. Tight and curvy roads drag through the protected valley, whose wet meadows do not allow trespassing.
